Hi! My name is Brady Miller, and I am a Findlay, Ohio native. Having grown up in this beautiful city, I know how much the community cares about giving back to those who live there. I witnessed this from the generosity of the Community Foundation, through my involvement in the incredible volunteer organizations across the city, and even the halls of my schools. There is always opportunity to give to those around us.

However, my social involvement was a little stunted, due to bullying, name calling and truly feeling different. I never felt that there was a group of LGBTQ+ individuals with whom I could connect. We all know the trials and tribulations of "fitting in" during your teenage years. This is when I truly began to understand who I was, but was unable to fully be myself with confidence. This stemmed from a sheer lack of resources, groups, and support where I needed it most.

The LGBTQ+ Spectrum of Findlay is dedicated to fixing this problem. Through support groups, social outings, celebration and education/advocacy, this organization is giving a voice to those who may otherwise feel very lost. The support of just ONE adult can save the life of someone who may be significantly at risk. I am so proud to support the LGBTQ+ Spectrum of Findlay and its foundation on building a brighter future - together.
