Growing up LGBTQ in a small town is never easy. The lack of resources, visibility and connections with others can often result in feelings of depression, loneliness, isolation and a lack of belonging. Spectrum of Findlay is a needed organization in Findlay, Ohio that helps to provide resources, programming, education, and Pride for LGBTQ individuals. In a town where the population hovers around 50,000 there is an extreme lack of access to support systems that help LGBTQ individuals within the region. Spectrum has started to become the de facto resource for all LGBTQ people within Northwest Ohio. Help me continue to grow the organization and allow it sustain and potentially grow its operations to help to further affect more lives within Northwest Ohio.
